Dear Friends,

I also have a dog that has been diagnosed with DI and we are at the point of using the DDAVP. We were told to drop on drop in her eye daily, but are concerned since you said it effected one dogs eyes. How is Tigger doing? Our dog also can hold it for a few hours, however she began to urinate while sleeping. We gave her medicine for that and it stopped and she has not gone in the house for a few months. However, being a teacher I am home all summer, but in the fall I will have to leave her alone for 8 hours, and thus the concern to use the medicine. The doctor said once you start it you should not stop it, but I note you have. How has it worked over the last 6 years? Please respond if you still look at your guest book. THanks

Have an 11 year old chocolate Lab who ate slug bate. He has had excellent care and is fighting hard. At this point it appears that his vision has altered somewhat, the concern now is his kidneys, liver etc. Are there any suggestions that aide in his recovery?

Hi,

I have 2 dogs that need a very good home, I unfortunatly must move back to the UK, and cannot take my dogs with me. I have an 8 month Black lab who is male (and the cuddliest dog I have ever met) - and a 10 month german shepard/Husky cross female - they are both amazing dogs, loving, smart and great with Children, they have no seperation issues and just need a good home. i do not want to drop them off at the SPCA as i want to know that they are going to the right home, I would ideally like to keep them together as they are just like brother and sister now.

It breaks my heart to do this, but I have no choice and I would love it if I can find a great home, who will give them as much love as they can get.

Just wanted to say that I have a Husky too... her name is Indy and she lives with my parents in Halifax (I'm in Calgary) and your page really made me think about my baby!! She has so much in common with your Maki, from the goofy playful bark noise to the insane love for toys that squeak(not to mention the occasional off leash mishap). She is jealous of my Mom's attention (not that I blame her, my Mom is a groomer and Indy spends a lot of time at work)and is a suck for all attention from any person. Thanks for giving me a moment to think about how much I love and miss her!
