I have two dogs (Tigger and Maki) and two cats
(Chewy and Jewel).
All four of my pets are formerly homeless, rescued from the SPCA or (in Maki's case) a breed-specific
rescue. There are an alarming number of pets who need homes out there, either strays or given up by their
previous owners for whatever (sometimes very stupid) reasons. Many of these animals are sweethearts like mine,
just waiting to find a loving home where they would make spectacular family pets and companions. Many of these
pets will be euthanized at shelters if they cannot find homes. These animals need our help. Please
SPAY AND/OR NEUTER your pets to prevent them from contributing to the pet overpopulation problem.
And if you are considering a new pet, please consider one from rescue or a shelter. The shelters have beautiful
mixed breeds and some purebreds, and if you're looking for a specific breed you can try a breed rescue. You
could save a animal's life!
