Mardi Gras is on March 4th this year, just over a month away. That means that serious planning is now underway for the third annual RV Mardi Gras trip to New Orleans! This year we will be leaving Dallas on Feb 28th and staying in New Orleans until Monday morning March 3rd. I think this is going to be the best year yet, all the plans are coming together quite nicely.

This year we have a lot of fun people who are going to join us. We have 2-3 Canadians flying in for the festivities, and 2-3 people we know here in Texas have signed on for the RV trip as well. And of course, Ted and I. Where are all these people going to sleep in the RV you ask? Well - I really have no answer except, Mardi Gras is not about sleeping!!!

Also, we have already figured out our dogsitting solution so we won't have the dogs crammed in the RV and keep having to take breaks from partying to walk them like last year. (Good thing, since there will be no room for them!)

So any of our friends out there reading this, if you were thinking of joining us - now is the time to let us know and get your plane tickets if necessary, etc!

emd - a FEW hand grenades would have almost anyone passed out I think! You have to drink them in moderation - last year one of our party ended up in the hospital after a few hand grenades. But anyway, yeah, we'll raise our glasses for all those who can't be with us...

... including you, Guy. Maybe we'll see you and Myles in the year 2022 or so. :) How about your daughter, or are you thinking "she better not go to Mardi Gras dammit!" :) Hey what do you mean by a "necklace shot"? Whatever it is we will have to try to get one.

Yeah Core... the good ol' days when Ted used to drink beer... before all the studying... I'm hoping the aliens will deposit the real Ted for us to party with at Mardi Gras anyway.
