For our birthdays, Ted and I bought each other helmet lights for mountain biking. We got Lights & Motion Cabeza Logic lights. They came mail-order on Thursday, so on Friday we went to Erwin Park for our first attempt at night-biking. It was so fun! The lights were great, very bright and no problems. They will extend our "available biking hours" by quite a bit as it is getting dark at 6:00 - 6:30pm lately.

We also went biking on Thursday afternoon, and Saturday afternoon, so it was a very bike-full weekend. Saturday night we went to the Strokes concert with Dan and Vanessa. I don't really like the Strokes that much, but one of the opening acts was Ben Kweller and he sounded really good. The other opening act was Adam Green who was very freaky... he sang very pretty-sounding songs with morbid perverted disgusting lyrics! Yikes. He was a little disturbing.

That's all the news from here! I am still working on completing the update to my webpage - it is all done except the "photos" and "pets" pages. I don't plan to change the rescue pages since that is sort of a stand-alone site anyway and I like it the way it is.
