It rained like crazy on Friday. Now all the mountain bike trails are too muddy. Unlike Vancouver (where if you didn't ride in the rain you'd never go at all) you're considered a jerk if you ride in the rain here - because the soil is different, and you make big ruts and ruin the trails (apparently). So no mountain biking for us. How long will it take the trails to dry? And poor Ted so eager to ride his new bike. Bad timing! We did go biking Monday, Thursday, and briefly (before we were caught in the rain) on Friday.

In other news we had a very "drunk" weekend. With the huge rainstorm Friday night we decided to stay in, and some of our friends came over (Wayne, Pokemon, and another guy we don't know). We were going to a Hat Party on Saturday so Friday night turned into the "pre- hatparty" as we tried to figure out what hats to wear on Saturday. Then Saturday was the real hat party at Eric & Sarah Peacock's house. It was pretty funny.
