10.08.2002 10:29am - Trip to Houston

Comments (1)

Over the weekend we went to Houston in the RV. I'll put up pictures someday. It was HOT there, just like going back to mid-summer, probably 95-100 F. We toured NASA, which was cool, but stuff like that always reminds me of the much more exciting jobs other electrical engineers have. Oh well. We ate lots of Vietnamese food with Thuy & Sinh, and went to Galveston where our dogs got to run on the beach and play in the ocean for the first time since we moved away from Vancouver!

Coming back to the Dallas weather was a surprise, too. I don't know if it'll last, but today I had to pull my socks and shoes out for the first time in forever and put my sandals away. It is 55 F and raining today, feels like Vancouver winter.
