I was away for the past 2 weeks in BC. While there we did our annual Tofino trip. Then my sister came to Vancouver (from Halifax) and I spent a few days visiting her and also other friends and family on the Lower Mainland. Then it was up to the interior to visit Ted's family and more friends in the Okanagan.

Now we are back in Dallas and back at work. We took lots of cool pictures which I will put up when I get a chance. Also we didn't get the RV totally finished before going away, so we have to get back at that. And the usual house/yard/pet/pool maintenance work too. No rest for the wicked!

Yea, awesome trip as usual....

See, we have been going on that trip for so long now that I can see clear trends ...

1 trend is that we have such an awesome time....

Ok, so yeah, admittedly the view from Sheila's cabin sucked....like that NO VIEW option was for real this time....like it sucks when you go out on to your patio and you actually have to look thru the treetops to see the horizon and the setting sun...BLECH....notch that experience up....

We had an epic drive back down Island in the FORD...we bombed that puppy like champs all the way over the mountains....and oh yeah, I forgot to mention - we stopped at the Whiskey Creek service station on the way back....and grabbed ice cream cones...they were EPIC..

Whiskey CREEK - 2 thumbs up.

Yeah Coreman it was a great trip, as usual. How amazing that it is the 8th annual! What a great tradition... :)

I have now put up some of the surfing vids. I'm not sure on the best way to do that, because I want to put up videos but I don't want users to run into them by mistake while slideshowing through the pics. So I made a separate gallery for videos and will link from the top of the picture gallery to the corresponding video gallery... sounds complicated. I'm not convinced this is the best thing.
