11.10.2003 10:03am - Happy Birthday Ted!

Today is Ted's birthday! His big gift (although we actually bought it a few weeks ago) is a Panasonic Massage Lounger. He's wanted one for ages so he is very happy. You can see his chair in this picture.

He also got a lot of bar equipment (martini shaker, ice bucket, shot glasses, etc), some books, some money, the family room lamps & coasters which were a joint gift for us both, etc.

I am not sure what we will do tonight to celebrate, but probably go out to dinner somewhere or something. Knowing him he may want to skip the dinner and go out for dessert! :)

Today is also the "approximate" birthday of our orange kitty, Chewy. He is 5 years old.

We had a fun weekend, with the biggest event being Thanksgiving dinner for 10 Saturday night at Dan and Vanessa's. The real U.S. Thanksgiving is not for another couple weeks but they are going to Europe then, so they decided to have it this weekend. It was like a pot luck and we brought squash soup. There were lots of vegetarian side dishes and I ate a tofu chicken breast instead of the turkey. It was a delicious feast. There was so much food that we even came back on Sunday for leftovers!

We also saw The Matrix: Revolutions on Sunday. It was alright. I found it VERY cheesy at times. The action scenes and special effects were really good though.

Oh - and I forgot to mention that Thursday night was the 5th Anniversary party for the Blarney Stone (our favorite Irish pub). They had a really fun party there that night.

So... Happy Birthday to Ted, Chewy, and the Blarney Stone. While I'm at it, also Rod, Big Gulp, and Aj (and me) have had birthdays in the last week or so. Whew! Happy Birthday Everyone!

Thanks Guys.

Birthday went really well yesterday.

I had a great massage, talked to family and friends, had some birthday Apple Crisp and saw some little friends I hadn't seen in ages. (not in any particular order)

It was an overall Great Birthday.

Thanks
