01.29.2004 01:39pm - Super Husky!

Comments (5)

Last night Maki got moved into the "Advanced" class at obedience! Hurray Maki! Unfortunately in advanced class we did long down-stays all evening and that's one thing that he's not too good at. I think he has the doggie equivalent of ADD! It takes a sense of humour to obedience train a Siberian Husky, that's for sure.

Coreman - I thought Oscar was the star of his puppy kindergarten class! Or has he been trying to "forget" his lessons now that he is a teenager? Don't worry, I'm sure he'll get through that stage - I've never met a really naughty golden.

Hey Ted and Janice,
Was just thinking about you guys..Mardi Gras nostalgia, I guess...thought I'd check out the website and see what you guys have been up to. Your Christmas pics look great. I especially like the one of the sun setting over El Capitan. Hope you guys are doing good. John B. says "hi". I'll keep checking back to your site...I love the pictures.

Dog lovers in South Florida! I found a few Web sites that you might like; I have a German shepherd with severe
behavior problems and a few people in the South Florida area recommended a
dog trainer Edel from
www.k9advisors.com. I met with Edel and I cannot believe how fast he trained my dog. I liked this site because they are always giving back to the community and
they volunteer for many pet rescue and animal advocacy groups. Check out the
FREE Dog Training tips on his website
www.k9advisors.com.

If you are looking for Florida dog events go to
www.floridadogevents.com they
provide useful information to pet owners about pet events, dog parks, and local
pet friendly places. They also wish to help pet rescue efforts and help educate
on the importance of responsible pet ownership. If you are looking for a dog walker,
Pet Sitters or
cageless boarding you can
go to www.dogsgowalking.com, I work
late hours and they take care of my dog when I am home late or out of town. I recommend them to all of my friends with dogs and everyone likes them.

If you are looking for a loving home for your dog while you are away, we would love to provide it! I (Gerri) has worked from home since we moved to Sarasota ten years ago. Kevin also works from home, and our ten-year old daughter attends elementary school. We have a spacious two-level home in a quiet neighborhood, with plenty of room for walks with your small, medium or large family-friendly dog.

We have been volunteer foster parents for the Sarasota County Humane Society for several years now, and enjoy meeting new furry friends. Your dog will get lots of love and attention while in our home. We will be happy to text or email you with daily updates, and make sure you feel comfortable that your dog is in good spirits while you are away.
