Today is my last day of work!!! Next week I am on vacation. For the next 6 weeks after that I am on partially-paid maternity leave. Then for the next 11 months-or-so I am on unpaid leave of absence. And after that... who knows...!

I do feel a little sad about it, just the "end of an era" nostalgia kind of feeling. But mostly I am really really happy! I've been wanting to stop working for a long, long time. Although I know I will be busy, not just goofing off having fun, I will NOT be sitting in a cubicle all day, going to meetings, and all that stuff. Yippee!!

Today I am having TWO baby showers (one at work this afternoon, and another - really just a houseparty - at home this evening). Should be fun....

Wow! Retiring already? I once dreamed about that. Congratulations, you guys have so many exciting things going on :)
