Peyton was 2 months old last Thursday Oct. 21, and on that day she went on her first plane ride and became an international traveller at a very young age! We went to Halifax NS from Thursday to Tuesday for my cousin P.J.'s wedding.
The wedding was actually at the Inverary Resort in Baddeck, a very cute little community on Cape Breton Island, so on Friday Peyton also had to endure a 4 hour car ride across Nova Scotia.
She did great on both the plane and the car ride. On the plane, she slept through almost all the take-offs and landings (we had a stopover in NY) and only had a few minor fussy moments. She also slept the whole car ride (Imagine! We can barely get her to sleep 4 hours at a time at night!), waking up 9 kms from Baddeck. We are really impressed with our tiny traveller.
My sister lives in Halifax so we also got a chance to check out her appartment and visit with her a little bit. My parents also attending the wedding, and of course so did P.J.'s immediate family - Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Carl, my cousin Todd and his girlfriend Bena - so it was quite the family reunion!
We got back home last night and are now back at work.
Congratulations to P.J. and his wonderful new bride Jan! It was a beautiful wedding and Jan is great, so we're really happy to have her in the family!

Hi Ted & Janice. I'd lost track of when your trip was taking place, so thanks for the update. Glad all went well and you had a good time. By the way, somethings on its way in the mail for both your birthdays, with a little something for Peyton "just because".
Hugs and kisses to our baby grandaughter and you both.
Love,
Mom & Dad
