Well, things are really getting all wrapped up here in Texas. Our house is completely empty. Ted is leaving tomorrow with the critters in the RV, and Peyton and I are flying out on Tuesday.

We've had a hectic week but we made it through, and now there's not much left to do... except to leave. We had good-bye lunches with work, a good-bye party, and some sad good-byes with friends we've made down here. I will also be sad to lock up and say good-bye to this house and the pool too. I have to keep reminding myself that every ending is a new beginning and I think (I hope) we will be really happy in Ottawa.

Peyton and I will be missing Ted and wishing him luck on the drive for the next couple days while we hang out with friends down here, and then we'll be off on our way to join him and get settled in the new house! Ted's mom is coming to help us so that will be much appreciated and fun too!
