Just a quick update... we are still around, still alive, just a little overwhelmed and not getting much computer time! There is so much to do around here and not enough hours in the day.
We had a good visit with my parents and got some important stuff done like painting our living and dining room. After that we also painted the den, and are still in the process of setting up the office furniture (after which we will set up the computer, and THEN I may get more time online and be able to put up new pictures). Peyton's bedroom is the next room to be tackled.
Today we finally went to get our Ontario driver's licenses, get the car license plates, sign up for the health coverage here, etc etc. Also we are applying for Peyton's Canadian citizenship (she will get dual citizenship since she doesn't have to give up her American one). So much paperwork!
In addition we are contacting contractors about various things we want done around here, working on childproofing the staircases and so on.
In less "work" related news, we are really enjoying our new neighborhood. Peyton and the animals have all adjusted to the change very well. Peyton is sleeping a lot better now that she has settled in. Although it is pretty hot here, it is NOT as hot as Texas, so that's nice! We bought a baby backpack and went for a nice hike in Gatineau over the weekend. So things are busy... but good!

Hey - we were just starting to worry about you! I can't imagine dealing with such a major move and all the headaches, never mind with Peyton and the animals. Hopefully you'll be settled in soon :)
