I have decided to get this blog up and running again! This is a work in progress but it is going well so far. I've upgraded to MovableType 4.23 and that went pretty well in spite of having to move from MT 2.63... a much older version.

I still don't have a solution for the thing that brought everything to a halt almost a year and a half ago - the comment spam. It was my "captcha" solution (the image box that commenters have to copy into a text field) that stopped working. For now I have set it up so that I have to approve all comments, but I do hope to get another captcha working soon - at least that way I won't have to get all the spam comments emailed to me to approve!

Next up after the blog fix, I will have to work on my photo gallery.
