As emd wrote in the comments, we are very seldom in Texas these days! Tomorrow morning at 9am we are off to Mexico for 5 days of fun in the sun with Dan and Denise. We are staying close to Playa del Carmen, just south of Cancun. In other news, I have just censored out my previous blog entry...

Wedding in Kamloops

We are off this evening to Kamloops, BC, for Dan and Denise's wedding on Friday. Ted is in the wedding party and has to give a speech, glad it's not me! It's a short trip so I'm not sure if we'll have time to do much while we're there (other than the wedding). I am crossing my fingers for a trip up to the ski hill though!

Third Annual Limo Party

On Saturday we hosted a party to celebrate the birthdays of Big Ed, Tammy, Billy BAMF, and Pokemon. It was called the "Third Annual Limo Party" because the last two years we have celebrated with a limo party where we rented limos and drove around to different clubs. However, they all thought the limo thing was too difficult to organize so they wanted to do something different this year, and we offered our house.

Ted and I are both so crazy busy at work this week! He has a project that has big milestones coming up really soon. I have a little more time. But we are planning so many vacations for the rest of February (Kamloops for a wedding, Mexico for 5 days, and Mardi Gras) that we both have to work like crazy this week. On top of that I have a TL9000 audit coming up on Monday. So... no time for a longer update... gotta get to work!

Beautiful Weekend

We just had the most amazing weekend (weather-wise) here in Dallas. It was about 25 C each day and sunny, and with this nice warm wind blowing. I was hopeful that the weather might stay like that for a while, but it is supposed to start cooling off already today.
