New House!

We are in our new house! We officially "moved" (spent the night) on Friday July 27. The computer is not set up so I still can't work on this website, but we're slowly getting things set up and really enjoying the house so far!

On Wednesday July 25 we get the keys to our new house!!! In the few days after that we will be moving in (plus getting appliances installed, doing some painting, etc, etc). We have to be out of this house by the 30th. Packing is in full swing right now. Lots of other stuff is going on too but I don't have time to write about it right now...

Although I have been totally slack about getting the 2006 pictures up on the web, I have just skipped ahead and uploaded some 2007 pictures (mostly because we're getting lots of requests for pictures of the new house progress). Check it out here in the 2007 album.

Today is a momentous day in Potberry history... we took a drive by our soon-to-be new homestead and they have broken ground! In fact there was machinery there working on it as we watched. Hurray!!! We are going to take some pictures of course, and document the whole process in the photo album. Stay tuned....

Building Permit

We got the call yesterday that our construction company, Tartan Homes, has finally received the building permit for our new house! They've been waiting on that to actually start construction. I asked, "So when will you start digging the foundation?" and they said, "Immediately." So that is good news!
